Advertising Details

Ads appearing on our platform may be delivered to users by advertising partners, who may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer or phone each time they send you an online advertisement to compile information about you or others who uses a computer or phone. This information allows ad networks to among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. This Policy covers the use of cookies by SoftRetic does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers.

We target advertisements based solely upon:

  • Details of the page including where the advertisement is shown.
  • We allow advertisers to target ads to a list of keywords advertising.
  • The name and keywords associated with the page or article being viewed.

 The advertiser ads may place in:

  • Sidebars
  • On tag pages
  • Below articles
  • On search result pages
  • Our dedicated Sponsors page

There is no way to disable advertisements where reasonable. For instance, it’s not feasible to disable certain advertisements in the form of recognition posts, site-wide contests, dedicated sponsorship page, etc

Facebook (Visitor Action Pixel)

We use the “visitor action pixels” from Facebook Inc on our platform.

This allows user behaviour to be tracked after they have been redirected to our platform by clicking on a Facebook ad. This enables us to measure the effectiveness of Facebook ads. The data collected in this way is anonymous to us, i.e. we do not see the personal data of individual users. However, this data is stored and processed by Facebook, which is why we are informing you, based on our knowledge of the situation. Facebook may link this information to your Facebook account and also use it for its promotional purposes, by Facebook’s Data Usage Policy. Google (DoubleClick DART Cookie)

Google is one of the third-party vendors on our platform. It also uses cookies, known as DART cookies to serve ads to our platform to visitors based upon their visit to https://softretic.com and its associated platform and other websites on the internet. However, visitors may choose to decline the use of DART cookies by visiting the Google ad and content network Privacy Policy at the following URL – https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads

Advertising Partners Privacy Policies

Third-party ad servers or ad networks use technologies like cookies, JavaScript or Web Beacons that are used in their respective advertisements and links that appear on SoftRetic and its associated platform, which are sent directly to user’s browsers. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. These technologies are used to measure the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns and/or to personalize the advertising content that you see on websites or platform that you visit.

Note that SoftRetic has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.

Third-Party Privacy Policies

SoftRetic’s Privacy Policy does not apply to other advertisers or websites. Thus, we are advising you to consult the respective Privacy Policies of these third-party ad servers for more detailed information. It may include their practices and instructions about how to opt-out of certain options.

https://softretic.com and its associated platform uses Google AdWords for remarketing

https://softretic.com uses the remarketing services to advertise on third party websites (including Google) to previous visitors to our site. It could mean that we advertise to previous visitors who haven’t completed a task on our site, for example using the contact form for queries. This could be in the form of an advertisement on the Google search results page or a website/platform in the Google Display Network. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on someone’s past visits. Of course, any data collected will be used under our privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy.

You can set preferences for how Google advertises to you using the Google Ad Preferences page and if you want to you can opt-out of interest-based advertising entirely by cookie settings or permanently using a browser plugin.
